Actuarial Valuation & Analysis Division is in charge of actuarial valuation, analysis, planning as well as management / regulatory reporting. The mission of this division also includes leveraging actuarial / financial insights toward company-wide strategic initiatives.

【職務内容】
◆Leverage insights to action
Understand actuarial knowledge, data and insight generated in the closing / reporting process and leverage them into foresight and recommended company-wide strategic action.
◆Devise & execute reinsurance strategy
Devise and execute reinsurance strategy. This includes negotiation with external / internal reinsurance companies, creation of agreeable reinsurance contracts and consensus building among key internal stakeholders (incl. head office).
◆Coordination & management
Coordinate with various stakeholders inside and outside of the company to achieve successful implementation of new company initiatives.

最終学歴:四年制大学卒以上
【Experience, skill and knowledge】
◆Deep understanding of life insurance business environment and strategies (new product development, marketing, customer retention, commission setting, investment reinsurance and capital strategies).
◆Strong knowledge of actuarial practices (e.g. JGAAP, IFRS, economic valuation and solvency) in Japan as well as in Europe, and other various regulations of life insurance business.
◆Strong communication and negotiation skill.
◆Problem solving, and leadership capability.

【People management】
Ability to initiate and drive strategic initiatives are necessary. As it always involves multiple business areas (e.g. product development, sales, marketing, investment, reinsurance and capital management) as well as Head Office, the required management & coordination skills for this position is high.
