If you are passionate about providing great technical solutions to increase business value and improve our capabilities, we would love if you would consider applying for our software architect role. 【Job Purpose】 We are looking for an experienced software architect who can help drive the overall architecture . The role will involve working on projects at all stages, as well as cooperating with development teams to set a clear direction for our application landscape. We will require you to collaborate with our platform architects to ensure designs are aligned with best practices and group standards. 【業務内容】 ◆Key Accountabilities 【Solution architecture】 ・As a key member of projects, develop architectures based on business and technical requirements Collaborate with developers, business analysts and other architects to propose technical solutions that provides maximum business value ・Prepare appropriate architecture documentation and present for approval at the Architecture Review Board 【Application lifecycle management】 ・Contribute to the roadmaps of our applications ・Provide guidance and solutions to improve the application landscape 【API design & strategy】 ・Contribute to the design of our API platform to speed up time to market for new products and services ・Review API design proposals from development teams 【Cloud migration】 ・Provide guidance on re-architecting applications to be deployed onto our AWS based cloud platform ・Help optimise designs to make best use of cloud services, ensuring high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability |

| ◆Technical skills, Job experiences 【Must have】 • At least about 5 years of experience as technical leader/software architect or similar role, with more than 8 years of experience in software development ◆Behavioral skills • Proactive and responsible for own assigned projects or tasks and able to deliver to completion with minimal supervision • Able to communicate effectively both with business stakeholders as well as other IT members • Good communication and presentation skills ◆Certificate, Education background TOGAF or similar would be beneficial but not required. ◆Language skills English and Japanese Requirement: Business Level (both in written and verbal) because the large number of potential stakeholders are both internally and globally. |

【Preferred】 ◆Technical skills, Job experiences • Experience participating in large projects collaborating with regional/global teams and multiple stakeholders • Have a strong working knowledge of the following technologies – Java, Oracle (or other RDBMS), Web technologies, Linux and AWS • Experience building and delivering complex and scalable solutions • Knowledge and hands-on experience of software development tools and methodologies (especially DevOps practices) • Experience in the financial industry would be highly preferred 【Other comments】 Ideal candidate: - Someone with experience as a software architect. However, also happy to consider someone who has good experience as a technical lead and such but looking to step into more architecture focused role. - We look for candidates who is technically strong person with broad experience on projects dealing with many stakeholders (business, local IT, global IT etc) |
