職務内容 We are seeking an experienced manager to oversee and coordinate sourcing and procurement activities for Japan, with roughly US $580m spend.

Head of Japan Procurement will be responsible for managing our Sourcing Procurement professionals, our shared services partnership activities, maximizing cost savings and mitigation of contract and performance risk.

Additional responsibilities include leading efforts to streamline and improve internal sourcing processes and effectiveness. This includes leading a strategic transformation to bring the team to a fully functioning source-to-pay model through coordination of efforts with vendor management and accounts payable.

A team of approximately 4 category managers will be direct reports but responsibility will also include coordination with several other functional stakeholders.

This includes enforcement of and adherence to corporate policies and processes regarding acquisition of vendor products and services. Savings will be achieved through implementation of standards, leveraging purchasing power through aggregation of vendor spend and utilization of a structured contract negotiation process. This must all be achieved whilst maintaining flexibility and nuances associated with Sourcing Procurement and our corporate policies and procedures.

◆Reports to Japan Chief Operating Officer of Finance
◆Sourcing leadership role with responsibility to establish and manage an effective procurement capability for Japan to support profitable business growth
◆Oversight of the negotiation, contract documentation and acquisition of a variety of vendor spend commodities (e.g. technology, professional services, business services, facilities and property management)
◆Transform, refine and improve processes, policy and practices to institutionalize procurement best practices. To include standardized contracts, process, and systems; vendor selection criteria; vendor due diligence requirements, performance criteria; and management reporting.
◆Promote use of preferred vendors to promote greater standardization, improved compliance, risk mitigation and leverage of purchasing power to increase cost savings
◆Collaborate with other corporate and administration services groups to form a cohesive Japan sourcing approach and effective procure-to-pay model
◆Oversee the Procurement Shared Services partner to ensure they are delivering project on time, in quality and are maximizing their service
◆Develop sourcing strategies (and vendor spend baseline) in collaboration with internal clients
◆Communicate marketplace intelligence relative to vendor capabilities, market pricing, conditions and trends, to help guide optimal use of vendors
◆Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business units to understand procurement requirements and pipeline of procurement related work
◆Manage, facilitate training and career path planning for direct reports

最終学歴:四年制大学卒以上
◆Postgraduate degree
◆Accredited procurement qualification [CIPSA preferred]
◆Fluent Japanese and Strong English communication skills, including comprehension, speaking and writing
◆Minimum fifteen years relevant commercial, legal, sourcing and productivity experience in a leadership role
◆Proven management and leadership skills to build and manage a team of sourcing professionals
◆Successful track record working in Japan running sourcing and procurement activities of between $50M to $500M spend; Financial or Insurance industry a plus.
◆Proven capabilities of change management, project management and transformation as it relates to organizational design and process improvement.
◆Experience with implementation and adherence of a standard disciplined sourcing process to include experience in use of travel, procure-to-pay lifecycle, sourcing, buyer and other relevant using industry standard procurement systems (i.e. Ariba, Fieldglass, modules)
◆Strong communicator with excellent influencing and relationship management skills with business leaders, internal clients and the vendor community
◆Self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get things done as well as manage and direct a team; able to multi-task, handle competing priorities and work in an environment where management, peers and business partners are based in multiple locations
