| 職務内容 | 【Job Description】 Responsibilities: ◆Head of EV Strategy Management Team Proactive Embedded Value (EV) management is critical for company’s sustainable value growth. The role of this position requires strong analytic skills, project management skills and financial acumen as well as broad life insurance business experience to work with teams across the company on expense efficiency, persistency improvement etc. This effort has been incorporated as a part of Next Horizon (mid term business strategy) This position will also require team building skill as well as project management skill. ◆Understand and analyze drivers of Embedded Value (Both Value of Inforce and Value of New Business) as well as Economic Capital or ESR (Economic Solvency Ratio) ◆Identify levers of value growth and prioritize initiatives ◆Develop strategy to optimize value and risk from EV viewpoint ◆Engage closely with functional owners across the company and lead efforts to design ◆Understand underlying customer needs, ideate and execute initiatives from customer perspective |

| Experience ◆10+ years of experience within Planning, Finance, Profit or Value management area in life insurance company. ◆Actuarial background ◆Have knowledge of broad area of life insurance business, covering finance, product, actuarial, investment, expenses, operations, etc. ◆Strong communication skills and financial acumen to manage value initiatives in quantitative manner. ◆Both English and Japanese language skills for communication and reading/understanding of related materials. Skills ◆Deep understanding of finance or product in life business and operating model ◆Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills ◆Excellent presentation and written communication skill both in English and Japanese with various stakeholders within the organization internally and globally ◆Collaborate with internal cross functional team comprised by Investment, Risk, Finance, and others ◆Actuarial software experience (e.g., prophet) is a plus ◆Manage and develop talents ◆Project management skill is a plus Qualifications ◆Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, or related discipline ◆Actuary Fellow (e.g., FIAJ, FSA) Language ◆Japanese: Native Level, English: Business Level Personality ◆Self-driven, good at designing and structuring business plans with strong leadership ◆Attention to details ◆Results oriented and able to work with matrix organization ◆Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities to meet business needs, anticipate and meet established deadlines ◆Ability to pro-actively work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously ◆Enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-driven and global environment |
