| 職務内容 | 【Job Purpose】 ◆As we are working on combined ratio remediation plans of Commercial / Personal Property Products, we would like to hire one Data Analysts/Data Scientist to support actuarial studies and improve underwriting effectiveness ◆To find appropriate counteractions to improve profitability of Commercial / Personal Property Products in Japan market, we would like to utilize not only traditional actuarial techniques but also new techniques such as utilization of hazard map data to screen/classify customers --- which is difficult for traditional actuaries. Hiring experienced professionals to maintain/update our in-house capabilities is crucial as we can make more progresses on Actuarial/Underwriting Studies 【Job Responsibilities】 ◆Depending on stipulated business imperatives, conduct data analysis and provide insights to guide directions and solve the issue in agile approach ◆As our assignments would consist of complicated and back-and-forth factors in uncharted territories, we need to identify new solutions without enough clues ◆Plus, we have implemented Fraud Detection project with Machine Learning, we are receiving more project opportunities to implement Machine Learning/Deep Learning in the company. Therefore, there is high provability to be assigned to such projects 【Key Relationships】 ◆Internal Interactions (Within the Organization) ・Depending on each assignment, key stakeholders would be defined. However, most likely, stakeholders would be mainly Product and Distribution colleagues ・Also, to be effective and efficient, there would be some interactions with professionals (i.e. Actuary, Data Analyst and Data Scientist) under Data & Analytics Division heavily ◆External Interactions (Outside the Organization) ・Not so much external interactions are anticipated but there would be interactions with Producers/Solicitors |

| 【Educational Qualification】 ◆Undergraduate degrees in Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or other relevant technical areas are preferred 【Specific Qualifications】 ◆Proficiency in Python, R, SAS, VBA and Microsoft Office Suite ◆Technical, analytical, excellent problem solving skills with attention to details ◆Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ◆Team player ◆Experience in Machine Learning/Deep Learning is preferred ◆Fluency in Japanese is a must and English is a bonus 【Total Experience】 ◆4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist/Data Analyst |
